Ann Elizabeth Rawson was the daughter of James Rawson and Susannah Garbutt and the granddaughter of James and Hannah (Rogers)Rawson and Henry and Mary (Thompson) Garbutt Sr. She was the wife of William H. Plows. William Plows and Ann Elizabeth Rawson were married in Guisborough, North Yorkshire, England on August 12, 1880. Witnesses to their marriage were Thomas Jenkinson and H. Barker.

Ann Elizabeth and William Plows had nine children:

1) Fred Plows (1880-1934). He never married.
2) Walter James Plows (1883-1954). He married Grace Winifred Kays.
3) Elizabeth Ann Plows (1884-1955). She married James Morris Dixson.
4) Charles Edward Plows (1886-1919). He was briefly married to an English woman named Hilda and then divorced. He later married Jennie Besecker. Charles and Jennie had no children of their own. Jennie had a daughter, Lorena from a previous marriage.
5) George Herbert Plows (1890-1964). He was married to Ila Fay (Teatsworth) Larimer. Ila Fay's parents were:
Bloomer William and Penina "Nina" (Hockenberry) Teatsworth.
6) Rose Ann Plows (1891-1981). She married Albert John Anderson. They never had any children.
7) Kathryn Helen Plows (1893-1981). She married Frank Wilbur Rose and had two children: Marjorie Ann(Rose)Lemon and Richard Dean Rose.
8) Harry Wilford Plows (1896-1962). He married Leona Elizaberh Watts. They never had any children.
9) Mabel M. Plows (1900-1969). She was married twice. She first married Isaac McCauley and had one son, Robert James McCauley. Isaac and Mabel were divorced. Mabel later married Henry Edgar Vandever and had one son, Billy Rex Vandever. Billy Vandever is single and lives in California.
