John B. Vandruff died at the home of his daughter, Emma Anderson, last Wednesday, Oct. 22 at Moffatt. He suffered from a stroke of paralysis the last part of June from which he never recovered. He was 72 years, 10 months and 22 days old. His wife Alice E. Winchell Vandruff, preceded him in death 5 years ago. He was laid to rest at Canon City beside his wife. He leaves to mourn his death five daughters, Mrs. Nancy (Oscar) Burdette, Mrs Effie (Arthur) Miles, Mrs. Ethel (Arthur) Biggs, Mrs. Mary (Clarence) Biggs, and Mrs. Emma (Lee) Anderson; and son, Joseph (Myrtle) Vandruff; eighteen grandchildren and numerous friends.
