Funeral services were held at the United Brethren church here this afternoon at, two o'clock for Mrs. Nora Sherwood, wife of Asbury Sherwood, who died at the home of her stepson, Howard Sherwood, in Anderson Sunday morning. Mrs. Sherwood, who lived at 608 North Sexton street, took sick while visiting in Anderson. The deceased was 75 years old. Survivors are the husband; one son, Alonzo Gustin of Anderson; a daughter, Christina Gustin of San Diego, Calif.; three stepsons, Howard Sherwood of Anderson, at whose home she died, Earl Sherwood, also of Anderson, and Noble Sherwood of Dayton, Ohio; a sister, Mrs. Etta Gold of Anderson; and two grandchildren. The Rev. Sylvia Henbyt, pastor officiated at the services at the United Brethren church. Burial took place in the East Hill cemetery.
