FUNERAL OF CHILD

The funeral services over the infant child of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Bingham were held in the Vernal First Ward Chapel at eleven o'clock a.m. on Monday, under the direction of Bishop George E. Wilkins of the Vernal Second Ward. Beautiful and appropriate music was furnished by the Vernal Second Ward quartet.

Harmond Sowards offered the opening prayer. The funeral sermon was preached by President Don B. Colton, who for the comfort of those bereaved, spoke of the confidence with which Latter-Day Saint parents may lay away their children, knowing as they do that the little ones have died without sin and are therefore assured of eternal life. He referred also to the doctrine of Eternal progression, showing that death does not end ones opportunities to work.

The benediction was pronounced by N. Merkley. Lester Bingham and Orson Wilson, brothers respectively of the bereaved father and mother, acted as pallbearers. Interment was in the Maeser cemetery.

Parents:
Bingham, Mary Matilda Wilson (Mother)
Bingham, Edwin (father)
