Daughter of Thomas W. and Eliza Cook, Isabella married Edwin Burt, Jr. on July 4, 1870. They lost their first child, Earl Wallace Burt in 1872. Their second child, Frederick Allen Burt was born in 1874 and died before 1880. His grave is probably in the Allin Cemetery with his brother and father who are also buried there. Husband Edwin Burt died in 1877.

In 1878 she married John B. Wing. They were living in Constantia, Oswego County, New York in 1880 with her one surviving child by her first marriage, son Edwin Frederick Burt, age 3.

She and John were living in Bristol, Bristol County, Rhode Island in 1900.

Her son Edwin Fred Burt died in Bristol County, Rhode Island, on 15 Aug 1938, wife Ida Olson. According to a grandson, they are buried in the New North Burial Place, commonly called the North Burial Ground, in Bristol, Rhode Island. Plot 1083, St. Mary's Road.
