William B. "Dubb" Abbett, who retired from the Army National Guard in Alabama after 30 years, died Wednesday at an area hospital. He was 63.
Abbett, a native of Jackson's Gap, Ala., was a longtime resident of Coden.
He was a member of several bowling leagues and American Legion Post No. 250.
The service is scheduled for noon today at Serenity Funeral Home on Old Pascagoula Road. Burial will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
