Haire, who was 95 years old December 27, for many years a resident of Smithton, died at 8 o'clock Tuesday night at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Webster Jones, the former Miss Nettie Haire, in Pittsburgh, Pa., She leaves three children, Mrs. Jones, Ernest Haire, Texas and Clayton Haire, Kas. - Sedalia Democrat - Wednesday, January 9, 1946 pg.4

Widowed at time of death, husband Newton H. Haire. Died January 7, 1946 in Pittsburgh, Pa. Aged 85 years, 11 days. Removal to Smithton for burial on Jan. 9, 1946.
