William M. Haun was the son of Elcaina (Cain) and Millie Anna Elder Haun. He was born in 1875 Harrison County, Missouri. Along with his parents and siblings they traveled by covered wagon across Missouri and Oklahoma Territory lands. William and Carrie Lenore Moore were married in Blaine Co., Oklahoma, Mar. 28,1903. Then they were remarried Feb 23, 1905,Dewey Co., Oklahoma. To this union they had 7 children, 2 daughters and 5 sons. They resided in the El Reno, Canadian county area. Children born to this couple were: Clarence Albert 1903, Ada L. 1906, McCulen "Mack" 1908, Myrl Everet 1910, Delma M. 1915, Delmer Claud 1915, William M. "Bud" 1918.
William died in Central State Hospital, Norman, Oklahoma of severe mental illness.
