Unadilla - Mrs. Carol Lynn Van Deusen, 25, of Port Alleghany, Pa., died Saturday, January 20, 198, at St Francis Hospital, Olean, following an extended illness. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 23, in Joyce Funeral Home, Unadilla, with Rev. Roger Beach, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Gilbertsville, officiating. Burial will be in Sand Hill Cemetery, Wells Bridge, at a later date. She was born March 2, 1942, in South Orange, N.J. , daughter of Joseph and Caroline(Salisbury)Frey. On June 13, 1964, she married to Fred Van Deusen in Gilbertsville. She had lived in Port Alleghany for 3 1/2 years. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Gilbertsville. She is survived by her husband, of Port Alleghany; her daughter, Karen, also of Port Alleghany; her father, Joseph and mother, Caroline, both of Unadilla; and a brother, James Frey of Sarnia, Ontario.
