White- George Lawrence, native of Pascagoula, Miss., a resident of Mobile, Ala., died at the residence, 2463 Old Shell Rd., Thursday evening, March 16, 1944, at 9:05 o'clock. Funeral services will be held from Higgins Chapel Saturday at 3:30 p.m. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Annie Bell Yawn White; one sister, Mrs. Mamie Yawn, Mobile, Ala.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Arrangements by the Higgins Mortuary.

White- Funeral services for Mr George Lawrence White were held from the chapel of the Higgins Mortuary Saturday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock, with Rev. D.F.Harnett conducting the services. Serving as pallbearers were: Garland Prichard, Willie Yawn, George Yawn, Ed Pugh, all nephews of the deceased, and Johnnie Anderson and Warren Miller. Interment was in the Pine Crest Cemetery. Arrangements by the Higgins Mortuary.
