Winfred L. Beall, 81, of Senatobia, died Friday, November 20, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Desoto in Southaven.

Visitation will be 5pm – 8pm Monday, November 23, at Stringer Family Funeral Home in Hazlehurst. Services will be held Tuesday, November 24, at 11am at Zion Hill Baptist Church in Wesson, with burial in Zion Hill cemetery.

Mr. Beall was born in Copiah County, September 9, 1928. He lived his entire life in Copiah County prior to residing in Senatobia Convalescent Center in Senatobia. He was a veteran of the Korean War and a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching sports and spending time with his family, especially his two granddaughters.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Luther Beall and Maggie Davis Beall; brothers Otto Beall, L.L. Beall, Ray Beall, Rowan Beall, Prentiss Beall, George Beall, and Dennis Beall; and sisters Maybelle Derrick, Pearl McCardle, Mary Lee McCarroll, and Vera Dyess.

Survivors include: wife, Hellon W. Beall of Senatobia; daughter, Robbie Walker and husband, Curt Walker and two grandchildren, Kate and Kara Walker, all of Hernando; brothers, Jack Beall of Kosciusko and Lee Beall of Wesson; sisters, Ruby Montgomery of Brookhaven and Minnie Jane Wooten of Wesson.
