Willie Evelian Baggett Stacey, age 83, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2009 at Monroe County Hospital. Mrs. Stacey, a lifelong resident of Monroe County, lived in Mineola. She was a homemaker and a member of Mineola Baptist Church.

Mrs. Stacey is preceded in death by her husband, Claudie Stacey and her infant daughter, Sandra Kaye Stacey.

Survivors include 2 sons, Billy (Linda) Stacey of Mineola and James (Kellean) Stacey of Booneville; 4 daughters, Inez (James) Graham of Mineola, Evelian (Jimmy) Lambert of Goodway, Nettie (Sam) McKinley of Mineola, and Faye (Mick) Hansen of Daphne; 4 brothers, Barnie Baggett of Mineola, Joe Baggett of Jackson, Jessie Baggett of Uriah, and James Baggett of Mineola; 1 sister, Anna Mae Turberville of Uriah, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stacey will be Monday, October 19, 2009 at 2 PM at Mineola Baptist Church will Rev. Bob McKenzie and Rev. Marlon Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Mineola Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Stacey will be Monday, October 19th from 12 Noon to 2 PM at the church.
