BENTONVILLE - Letha Laura Cornwell, 99, of Bentonville died June 15, 2009, at her home. She was born March 22, 1910, in Louisa County, Iowa, to Laura Havenhill and Edward Vandemark.She was a dental assistant for many years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church in Winfield, Iowa.She was preceded in death by her husband.Survivors include two sons; Robert Cornwell and wife Phyllis of Branson, Mo., Neil Cornwell and wife Sharon of Winfield, Iowa; a daughter, Marlene Evans and husband James of Philo, Ill.; a sister, Lola Cromwell of California; numerous grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren.A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.Memorials may be sent to First Presbyterian Church in Winfield, Iowa.Arrangements were by Epting Funeral Home in Bentonville.
