Leonidas White was born in Texas to Jesse White and Nancy Myers White. He married Sarah "Sallie" Ellen Grimes on Aug 27, 1885. They were the parents of two children: Maria Eliza (Liza) White & Jess Franklin White. When Leonidas died, he was buried in the Tecula Cemetery. Many years later after searching for his grave with no results, my mother (Opal Laney Hearon) related to me that he was buried at the Tecula Cemetery before the fence was erected around the cemetery. After it was erected, they discovered that his grave was outside the fence. Apparently there was no marker or stone. His grave probably now is lost forever.
