KENNETH KREITZER OF AMHERST KILLED ON GERMAN FRONT
AMHERST -- Mrs. and Mrs. Richard Kreitzer have been advised that their son, Pfc. Kenneth Kreitzer, 22, was killed in action March 20 in Germany while serving with the field artillery. He had been overseas for more than a year and a half.
Surviving in addition to the parents are a brother, Richard, Jr., and a sister, Doris both at home.
Before going into the army Private Kreitzer assisted his father on the farm.

The body of Pfc. Kenneth L. Kreitzer, 22, Pleasnaton, will arrive here Monday, en route to Pleasanton for interment. Killed in action in World War II on March 30, 1945, in Germany, he enlisted on Feb. 18, 1943, and had served overseas for one year and eight months.
Rites will be at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday at the evangelical United Brethren church in Pleasanton, with the Pleasanton post of the American Legion in charge of services at the grave. ....
