Cade Berry, 83, Of Dillon County
Dillon, Oct. 26 - Cade Berry, 83, Dillon County farmer, died unexpectedly Tuesday morning at his home.
He was a son of the late Leonard and Mary Barnes Berry of Marion County.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Eva Blanche Haseldon of Sellers, Mrs. Edith Wessinger of Ft. Bragg, Mrs. Mabel Maynor of Salter, Mrs. Carrie Norton of Hamer and Miss Myrtis and Miss Margie of the home; five sons, Dan of Lumberton, N.C., Marion, Archie and Denver of Marion and Bernie of El Paso, Tex.; 56 grandchildren, and 24 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday from the home by the Rev. James Chapman, assisted by the Rev. W. E. Bost. Burial will follow in Riverside Cemetery.
