Dan Coffman obituary: Wynona native worked for Housing Authority

Richard Leo "Dan" Coffman, 72, passed away November 16, 2009 at his home in Dewey, Oklahoma.
Dan was born March 25, 1937 in Wynona, the son of Raymond and Maxine (Stone) Coffman. On February 1, 1955, he married the former Frances Janette Thomas in Wynona. Dan was raised in Wynona and attended Wynona schools, graduating in 1955. He worked on the pipeline for a time, then went to work for the Osage County Housing Authority until his retirement. In his spare time, Dan loved to golf, fish and hunt with his sons and grandsons.
Surviving are: His wife: Frances Coffman of the home; His children: Donnie Coffman and wife, Debbie, of Bixby; Donna Potter and husband, Derrick, of Corsicana, Texas; Annette Breshears and husband, Bill, of Wolco; John Coffman and wife, Sonya, of Seminole; A sister: Goldie Mundy of Pawhuska; Eleven grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 18, at 2 p.m. in the Assembly of God Church, Barnsdall. Pastor Phil Clements will officiate. Interment will be in the A.J. Powell Cemetery, Hominy.
