Son of Samuel & Mary (Benedict) Reed, husband of Currance Sanford, m. Oct 13, 1816 in Middletown, Delaware County, NY.

Their children in order of birth were, Sanford, Jerusha, Amos, Harriet, Esther, Anna, Emily, Lyman, Norman Clarence, Clarissa, Phoebe, Marion, Harrison, Samantha, Henry and Barbara Reed.

Phoebe was adopted, she married James Mackey in Apr. 1857. I can not locate the burial sites of Phoebe, Harriet, Esther or Anna Reed.
