NUNEZ: Venserla 68, died Monday in Silver City. Mrs. Nunez was born in Faywood and was a lifelong resident of Grant County. She was a communicant of the Santa Clara Catholic Church in Central. Survivors are her husband, Celestino Nunez of Central; 1 daughter Esther Nunez of San Manuel, Ariz. Three sons Eugene Nunez of Tucson, Ariz., Felix Nunez of Central & David Nunez of Bayard; 4 sisters, Carolina Rodriguez of Bayard, Rosa Ramirez of Central, Rita Martinez of Tucson & Mary Baca of Silver City; 1 brother Jesus Lucero of Las Cruces; 7 grandchildren, & 2 great-grand children. Rosary recitation will be held at 7 tonight in the Wheeler Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Santa Clara Catholic Church in Central. Rev. Paul Ragazinskas will officiate at both services. Serving as pallbearers will be Simon Nunez Jr., Steven Nunez, Rito Esparza, Rodney Rivera, Felix Nunez Jr. and Bobby Ramirez.
