Mrs. Eugene (Margie) Rejcek, age 52 of West, passed away August 20, 1998, after a long illness, at Hillcrest Baptists Medical Center in Waco.
A rosary was recited at 8 p.m. August 22 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, by Rev. Ed Karasek. Mass of Christian Burial was at 2 p.m. August 23 at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, with Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery near West.
Mrs. Rejcek was born on December 13, 1945 in Waco, the daughter of Louis J. and Margie Gajdosik. She graduated from West High School in 1964. She married Eugene Rejcek on October 23, 1965 in West. They moved and lived in the Waco area from 1973 to 1995. She was a homemaker and enjoyed various craft and flower gardening. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America Court #829, K.J.Z.T. and St. Anne Altar Society. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West and a former member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco.
She is preceded in death by her father, Louis J. Gajdosik, who passed away February 27, 1997.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene F. Rejcek of West; one son, Shawn Louis Rejcek of Corsicana; her mother, Margie Gajdosik of West; one brother Louis C. Gajdosik and his wife, Pam of West; one sister, Cathy Kilgore and her husband, Mike of Austin; mother-in-law, Martha Rejcek of West; sister-in-law, Rose Kreder and her husband, Bobby of Elm Mott; nephew, Michael Kilgore; nieces, Amanda Gajdosik, Kelly Ryan and Lori Nors; great nieces and nephews, Matthew, Whitney and Natalie Nors and Jacob Ryan.
Pallbearers were Ernest Kaska, Jimmy Holacka, George Elliott, Michael Kilgore, Matthew Nors and Anthony Rejcek.
