Emery Allen Carter Sr., 59 , died Saturday morning at the local hospital after a brief illness.
A native of Wayne County and a son to his mother Oddest Griffis Carter and the late Jacob Henry Carter.
He had lived in Waycross for several years and was employed by Harrell's Body Shop as an auto body technician. He was a former employee at the Sirmans Lincoln-Mercury and R.L. Walker Chevrolet.
