Lorraine KERSHMAN, aged 60, longtime employee of General Telephone died Thursday at Ochiltree General Hospital.
She was born in Lark, North Dakota on November 21, 1922 to Herman and Ruth BICKMAN. She moved to Perryton from North Dakota in 1935, becoming the wife of Martin KERSHMAN on March 13, 1938.
Mrs. KERSHMAN worked for General Telephone for 15 years, and was a member of the Southside Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Martin, at home at 118 S. Jefferson; two sons, Richard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Martin Jr. of London, England; two daughters, Laverna Kay BRIMAGE of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Cheryl PETERSON of Perryton; a sister, Jean LAW of Balko, Oklahoma; three brothers, Willis BRINKMAN of Yucca Valley, California, Richard BRINKMAN of Morrilton, Arkansas, and Marion BRINKMAN of North El Monte, California; 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Southside Baptist Church. The Reverends Bill Sparks and Marlon Sparks were to officiate, with burial in the Heart cemetery in Booker.
Pallbearers were to be Herman LAW, James LAW, Bobby ROBINSON, Art BOREN, Elmer BECHTHOLD and Paul BECHTHOLD.
