Clara May Gerber
On Tuesday, June 26, 2001 at her residence Chateau Gardens, Elmira. She was formerly of Milverton and was born 89 years ago in Port Huron, Michigan. A daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Kropf) Boss and adopted daughter of the late Simon and Sarah (Kropf) Jantzi. She was a member of Poole Mennonite Church, Poole. Clara enjoyed cooking and baking. Beloved wife of Amos R. Gerber who predeceased her on March 23, 1995. Dear mother of Ken and his wife Lucille of Port Ritchie, Florida, Frank and his wife Joan of Port Elgin, Doris and her husband Ralph Bast of St. Jacobs and Sharon and her husband James Lebold of Bayfield. Sadly missed by nine grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren. Clara was predeceased by two brothers Raymond and Stella Boss and Nicholas and Mary Jantzi. Family and friends may call at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2001 at Poole Mennonite Church, Poole at 2 p.m. with Pastor Paul Dyck officiating. Interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Mennonite Central Committee.
