Dorothy E. Polensky, age 89, of Mountain Home passed away Sunday, October 15, 2009 at Hospice of the Ozarks Hospice House.
She was born October 8, 1920, in Chicago to the late Charles and Cora (Hommema) Sprietsma.
She married George William "Bill" Polensky January 9, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. Dorothy was a member of First Baptist Church.
Mrs. Polensky is survived by three sons: Warren Polensky (Mary) of Bremerton, Washington, Bill Polensky (Mary Helen) of DeKalb, Illinois, Paul Polensky (Karen) of Carlisle, Pennsylvania; two daughters: Peggy Scott (Richard) of Austin, Texas and Sue Walberg (Tim) of Tipton, Michigan; twelve grandchildren and four great-grand-children. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Nancy Philpot, and brother Charles Sprietsma.
Entombment will be in Baxter Memorial Gardens.
