Funeral services for Peggy Jo Farris were conducted from the First United Methodist Church in Temple, Friday, February 5, 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Bobby Green officiating. Burial was in the Temple Cemetery under the direction of the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Temple.
Peggy Jo (Graham) Stogner Farris was born near Temple, on April 26, 1928, and departed this life at her home in Irving, Texas, on February 1, 1993, at the age of 64.
Peggy grew up in the Temple area and graduated from the Temple High School. She was married to Perry Dale Stogner on October 12, 1947, in Temple. To this union one daughter was born. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1972.
On April 7, 1975, she was married to Bill Farris in Dallas, Texas.
Peggy made her home in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area for the past 17 years.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law: Vicki and Todd Elliott of Brooklyn, New York; a grandson: Jesse Elliott of Brooklyn, New York; other relatives and many friends.
