Mrs. Everage was born in Monroe township, Clarion county, March 7th, 1850, the daughter of David and Elizabeth (Vaughn) Bartoe.
On August 4th, 1870, she was united in marriage to Archie Everage, also of Monroe township and to this union three children were born, Harry Everage, Mrs. W. T. Curll, Mrs. F. C. Fox, all of Monroe township.
She is survived by the following sisters: Mrs. Anna Wyman, of Piney township; Mrs. Sarah Hoover, of Butler; Mrs. Nancy Kifer, of Buffalo, N. Y. Four sisters and two brothers preceded her in death; also her husband ten years ago.
Fourteen years ago Mrs. Everage suffered a stroke of paralysis, almost paralyzing her right side and later she suffered another stroke which affected her throat.
