Mr. Michael Scott, 60, was found dead of a suspected suicide. He was serving in his third term as the Superintendent of Chicago's Schools. Michael Scott graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor's degree in urban planning. Mr. Scott is credited with rehabbing housing units and building a senior citizen center and a nursing home. A product of Lawndale, he also helped establish the Community Bank of Lawndale. Mr Scott was last seen alive on the evening of Novembr 15, 2009, and he's survived by his wife.
