The burial followed in the Leesville Cemetery. Georgia the daughter of Georgie & Nancy Langston Scarbre passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009 at Riverside Hospital of Louisiana in Alexandria, LA. She worked as a secretary for the Civil Service at Fort Polk.
She is survived by husband of 32 years Frank Lexie of Leesville, LA; sons Bill Lawson of Joshua, TX, James D. Lawson of Little Rock, AR, and Stephen True of Modesto, CA; daughter Beverly Jeanette Brown of Moses Lake, WA; sister Bertha Bushnell of , CA, and 14 grandchildren.
