Born May 26, 1916, in Frederick County, she was a daughter of the late Charles Bernard and Margaret Elizabeth Webb Wastler. Mrs. Fleagle was a lifelong member of Apple's United Church of Christ, Thurmont, and the Thurmont Senior Citizens. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed spending time
with her grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Surviving are a daughter, Georgette Stitely and husband Donald of Thurmont; a son, Richard Fleagle
and wife Joyce of Thurmont; a sonin-law, Tom Davis of Wilmington, Del.; nine grandchildren, Annette
Kelley, Richard Fleagle. Tom Davis II, Loretta Stouter, Michael Davis, Susie Johnson, Karen Stitely, Jeff
Stitely and Brian Stitely; 13 greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Doris Fitzgerald of Thurmont.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Shirley L. Davis, on Dec. 10,1994; three sisters, Hilda Fleagle, Mabel Troxell and Dorothy Welsh; and six brothers, Chester Wastler, Raymond Wastler, Arthur Wastler, Edgar Wastler, Lloyd Wastler and Merhl Wastler.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 4, and from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p m.
Sunday. Jan. 5, at the Thurmont funeral home of Robert E. Dailey & Son, 615 E. Main St., where friends
may call from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will begin there at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 6. The Rev. David Denham will officiate.
Burial will be in Apple's Church Cemetery, Thurmont.
