McPherson, 92, a life-long Chesterton resident, who died at 11:25 a.m., Saturday, at the home of her daughter in Gulfport, Miss., will be held at 1 p.m., Wednesday, in White Funeral home. She had been ill a year and a half and had been residing in Gulfport six months. She was born in Chesterton Jan. 4, 1864, the daughter of John and Carolyn Dille. She was married to Harley McPherson in 1893. He preceded her in death. Surviving are two sons, Harley of Crisman, and Edward of Chesterton; a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Bash, of Gulfport; a brother, Ross Dille of Chesterton. The Rev. Myrvin Holmberg will officiate at services Wednesday, and burial will be in Chesterton cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home from 1 p.m., Tuesday until services.
