Nancy Agnes Adams, 90 years, passed away on November 14, 2009 at Springfield Rehabilitation Health Center, Springfield, MO.
Agnes was born March 27, 1919 to Horace and Nola (Roby) Doublin. Agnes was a Housewife and Homemaker. On September 6, 1938 Agnes and Hershel Adams were united in marriage and to this union four children were born. She was a resident of Springfield for the past five years moving from the Goodhope Community where she lived most of her life. Agnes was a member of the Redbank Baptist Church in Goodhope. She enjoyed gardening, crossword puzzles and crocheting afgans for her kids and grandkids.
Agnes was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Hershel Adams.
Nancy is survived by two sons, Delmar Adams & Susan, Ava, MO and Dwayne Adams & Ruby, Sparta, MO, two daughters, Sandra K. Perry, Ava, MO and Freida May Johnson & James, Oxford, KS, eight grandchildren, several great grandchildren,great great grandchildren, one brother, Rudy Doublin and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services for Nancy will be Tuesday, November 17, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. in the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava, MO with burial in the Huffman Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, November 16, 2009 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Officiating will be Pastor Ellis Carpenter.
