She married Lemuel Cottrell 22 Sep 1822 and had six children: Charles, Fanny, Amanda, Norman, Gorham and Naham. She died at 36 years of age, 24 Mar 1837 and is buried in the Mayville Cemetery in Mayville, Chautauqua, NY.

I find it intriguing that Lemuel, the husband of my 3rd great aunt Sophia Parkhurst, once owned the property where I grew up on Talma Street in Aurora, IL.
