Great Bend - Donna Jean Vose, 62, died Feb.25, 1998, at Central Kansas Medical Center, St. Rose Campus, Great Bend.
She was born Aug. 31 1935 in Phillips County, the daughter of Spencer E. and Veda McCue Elliott. A Great Bend resident since 1970, moving from Phillipsburg, she was a payroll administrator for J.C. Penney company, Great Bend.

She belonged to First United Methodist Church, Phillipsburg, and Order of the Eastern Star, Great Bend. On Sept. 6, 1953, she married Dale L. Vose at Phillipsburg. He survives. Other survivors include: a son, Patrick, Liberal; a daughter, Lori Mitchell, Liberal' a brother, Elwood Elliott, Phillipsburg; a sister, Luetta Boeve, WaKeeney; and six grandchildren.

Graveside service will be at 1:30 pm Friday in Stockton City Cemetery, with the Rev. Tiom Ault Duell presiding. Friends may call from 9 am to 9 pm today at Bryant-Christiains Funeral Home, Great Bend. Memorials may be sent to Sunflower Shrine Club in care of the funeral home.
