Mr. Ohm was born August 22, 1900 in Neoga, Illinois, son of the late John J. and Anna Shafer Ohm. He was raised in the McsBurg church neighborhood, just north of Olney, and lived here for many years. Member of Methodist Church of Griffith, IN, and member of the Flora Elks Club and Local No. 150 Operating Engineers. He was married to Anna M. Harper on September 14, 1936, in Urbana, IL.
Besides his wife he is survived by two sons, Robert F. Ohm of Highland, IN, and Mervin R. Ohm of Joliet; one daughter, Mrs. Richard (Doris) Marshall of Hammond; one brother, Henry N. Ohm, of Olney, two sisters, Mrs. Marcus (Marie) Simon of Evansville and Mrs. Helen Cook of Jacksonville, IL and his mother-in-law, Mrs. Maude Harper of Olney. Burial Crest Haven.
