Roy Paul Adams, 63 of Memphis, MO passed away on July 11, 2006 at Boone Hospital in Columbia, MO.

He was born the son of Roy Clarke and Marvelle Kutzner Adams, Jr. on June 11, 1943. Roy Paul worked as a farmer, truck driver, and heavy equipment operator all his life. He also loved the outdoors and fishing was his passion.

He is survived by his son Allen Clarke (Heidi) Adams of Ogden, UT and daughter Susan Annette (Allen, Jr.) Spray of Winthrop, IA and granddaughters Samantha Annette and Calasandra (Callie) Christian Spray. He is also survived by his father Roy Clarke Adams of Memphis, MO, and his four sisters and one brother: Barbara (Larry) Pender of Burlington, IA, Neomi June (Ed) Gould of Rockford, IL, Mary (Bill) Rasmussen of Mt. Home, AR, Richard (Sue) Adams of Kirksville, MO, Betty (Warren) Lodewegen of Memphis, MO. Several nieces and nephews and beloved dog Mr. Baker.

Roy Paul was preceded in death by his mother Marvelle, and three infant sons: Roy Paul Jr, Gary Lynn, and Christopher Michael, and one brother John Earl.

Roy Paul was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Funeral Services were held July 16, 2006 at the Payne Funeral Chapel, in Memphis, with Pastor Jim Campbell, officiating. Pallbearers were Allen Adams, Allen Spray, Larry Pender, Bill Rasmussen, Richard Adams, and Michael Lodewegen. Interment was in the Lawn Ridge Cemetery, in rural Scotland County, MO.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Payne Funeral Chapel, Memphis, MO.
