Mrs. McCray was born March 12, 1910, in Bear Lake, Pa., daughter of the late Clyde and Alice Loomis Baccus.

She was raised and educated in the Bear Lake and Blue Eye areas, and graduated from Columbus High School in 1928. Following her marriage, her main priorities were raising her family and helping her husband on their dairy farm near Cutting, N.Y. From 1942 until 2003, Mrs. McCray had resided on her farm in Cutting. During World War II, she was employed at the former Aero Supply Co. in Corry.
For many years, Mrs. McCray had been the tax collector for the town of French Creek.
She was a member of the Cutting Community Church.
Mrs. McCray enjoyed crocheting and making quilts. She found great pleasure in giving these quilts to friends and family members.
She especially enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth C. McCray on July 23, 1973. They were married Nov. 19, 1930.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Howard; a son, Billy McCray and two sisters: Leah Messenger and Doris Bailey.
Mrs. McCray is survived by a daughter, Jean Brumagin and her husband, Glenn of Gowanda, N.Y.; a daughter-in-law, Donna McCray of Clymer; a son, Leo McCray of Clymer and a sister, Leda Dahl of Corry. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
