BLENCOE, Iowa - Debra J. Reed, 32, of Blencoe died Friday, Nov. 26, 1999, of injuries suffered in a motor vehicle accident near Sergeant Bluff.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Rush Family Chapel in Onawa, Iowa. Rick Wellenstein will be the speaker. Burial will be in Kennebec Cemetery, Castana, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Reed was born April 14, 1967, in Onawa, the daughter of Ronald and Penny (Coan) Carrier. She was raised in Onawa and graduated from West Monona High School in Onawa, in 1986.
She married Brian Reed on Jan. 6, 1993, at Madison, Neb. She had been employed as a nurses aid at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting, Iowa, for the past seven years.
Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Zoe, at home; three sons: Alex, Cody, and Jake, all at home; her mother of Onawa; two sisters: Jody of Cherokee, Iowa, and Margret of Onawa; a brother, Mathew of Onawa; a grandfather, Charles Carrier of Onawa; mother and father-in-law, Richard "Hoot" and Bertha Reed of Warrensburg, Mo.; five brothers and sisters-in-law; five nephews; and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents: Martha Carrier, and Charles and Margret Coan.
