Tyrecy was the wife of James P. Holt. They married on Feb. 19, 1852 in Cape Fear Township, Chatham County, N.C. and had twelve known children and numerous grandchildren, a number of whom lived with her and her husband. She passed away just before her 84th birthday after a long and fruitful life and 64 years of marriage.
