Mrs. Aaron Moore Answers Summons
Mrs. Gertie M. Moore, 75, died at 1:45 p.m. Tuesday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Loretta Cole, of Liberty Center. She had been ill from heart trouble three years and had been seriously ill since January.
Born April 3, 1873 in Salamonie township, Huntington county, the decedent was a daughter of James N. and Catherine Shidler Jones. She was united in marriage on Dec. 24, 1892 to Aaron C. Moore, who survives.
Survivors in addition to the husband are five daughters, Mrs. Loretta Cole, Mrs. Lela Coolman, Mrs. Belle Melling, Mrs. Iva Huffman, all of Liberty Center; and Delene Kleinknight of Bluffton; two sons, Kelley and Kenneth Moore, of Liberty Center; one brother, Boyd Jones, of Peru; a sister, Mrs. Ola Holdeman, of Cassopolis, Mich.; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Moore had been a member of the Boehmer Methodist church since 1889 and had been a resident of Wells and Huntington counties all her life.
The body will be taken this evening from the H. Brown & Son funeral home to the home one mile south and one and one-half west of Liberty Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday at the Boehmer Methodist church with Rev. A. Ray Noland officiating. Burial will be in the Woodlawn cemetery at Warren.
