She was born June 8, 1926 in Pleasant Grove, the daughter of Renard and Margaret Wilkinson Green, the oldest of twelve children.
She married Daniel Beck Hindley of American Fork in 1945 and was widowed in 1950. She then married Alvin Eitner Brock from Granger in 1954.
She was first and foremost a mother and a grandmother. Her greatest joy came from her family. Her grandchildren will always remember her for her inviting home and the many hours spent with them. "Grandma Brock" was always happy to read another story, bake another treat, and gather her family around the table. She would always say, "Eat your veggies." She was a fantastic cook and made sure that those that stepped into her home were well fed.
Margie was an active member of the LDS Church, served as Primary President, Relief Society President, Sunday School Teacher and served two church missions. She worked at the Mt. Timpanogos Temple since it opened and loved those that she worked with as her own family.
She is preceded in death by two husbands, parents, three brothers, and a sister. She leaves eleven grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, brothers Ray, Lloyd, Bobby, Tom, Larry, Ron, and her sister Joyce. She is survived by her lovely aunts, Jessie and Rose, many cousins, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters-in-law, and those that touched her life. Margie now prepares the way for her three sons: Daniel D. Hindley (American Fork), Bradley A (Linda) Brock (American Fork), and Alan F (Karen) Brock (Mount Vernon, WA).
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 16, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the American Fork Seventh Ward Chapel, 700 West 500 North, where friends may call from 9:45-10:45 a.m. prior to the services.
Burial will be in the American Fork City Cemetery under the direction of Anderson & Sons Mortuary.
