Mrs. Isabella Rebecca Hawkins, 86, of Smithton, died Friday at the home of her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Hodges, Clarksburg. She was born June 7, 1881 at Archie, Mo., daughter of John and Elizabeth Majors McMullen.
She was married on June 30, 1901 to William Hawkins who died in 1953. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Hodges, Mrs. William Kroge and Mrs. Marie Shrout and one son, James Hawkins.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Jack and Willie Hawkins, a daughter Maggie Hawkins, and two brothers, James and Benjamin Hawkins. - Sedalia Democrat - August 13, 1967 pg.4
