Son of John and Mary [Fisher?] Bacon of Wrentham, Massachusetts. Husband of Mary Baldwin of Leicester.

Daniel Bacon married Mary Baldwin, daughter of David Baldwin and Abigail Barr, on August 3, 1759. Daniel's name was listed on the muster roll of a detachment of men from Spencer district that marched to the relief of Fort William Henry in 1759.

Daniel and Mary (Baldwin) Bacon had the following children:

-Rufus, b. Nov. 12, 1758 at Spencer.
-Daniel Jr. b. Oct 5, 1760.
-Lucy, b. Feb 17, 1762 in Oxford, d. Dec. 11, 1766 in Charlton.
-Jonathan, b. Sept. 4, 1763 in Spencer, d. Dec. 9, 1766, Charlton.
-Elihu, b. July 20, 1762 in Charlton; d. Dec. 13, 1766.
-John, b. May 27, 1768, in Charlton.
-Asa, b. Dec. 23, 1769, in Charlton.
-Alvan, b. Sept 27, 1771, in Charlton.
-David, b. May 1, 1774, in Charlton.
-Mary, b. Apr 28, 1776, in Charlton; d. Dec 20, 1857, in Charlton. Married Barnabas Commins on Sept 3, 1797.

Daniel lived in Spencer, then Oxford and finally Charlton, where he had been a deacon in the church. Deacon Daniel Bacon died Feb. 12, 1813. His wife had died two days later, according to the tombstone, or on the 10th and buried together on the 14th, according to the book, below:
