Caleb Christopher Cummings, 22, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 11, 2009, in Franklin. He was a resident of Franklin.
He was born July 23, 1987, in Franklin to Chris Cummings and Kristie (Cox) Vandivier. He married Tara (Rooker) Cummings on Nov. 10, 2009. She survives in Franklin.
He also is survived by parents, Chris and wife Connie Cummings of Franklin and Kristie and husband Brian Vandivier of Franklin; a sister, Caitlin Cummings of Franklin; three stepsisters, Lindsey Vandivier, Brooke Vandivier and McKenzie Houchin; a stepbrother, Brandon Williams; his maternal grandmother, Barbara Cox of Franklin; his paternal grandmother, Cindy (W.C.) Chambers of Greenwood; numerous aunts and uncles; several cousins; and his boxer, Alani.
He was preceded in passing by his grandfathers, William Cox Jr. and Jack Cummings.
Caleb attended Franklin schools.
He formerly was employed by NSK in Franklin as a machine operator.
Caleb enjoyed riding BMX bikes and loved to tinker with electronics, computers and video games. He loved to listen to music. Caleb lives on because he chose to be an organ donor.
Mike Dukate will conduct a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. Monday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
