Died at his home at Indianapolis on Tuesday, February 17, 1925, at noon, aged 79 years and two months, after a lingering illness of several years. He leaves wife, two sons, Jesse and Burnett, and one daughter, Mrs. Frank Carson, a sister, Mrs. Anna B. Schoville of this city. Mr. Alley was a soldier in the Civil War, a member of Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers, member of Logan Lodge F. and A. M. and was a resident of this city for a number of years. The body will be brought to this city on Friday morning and interred in the Alley lot, city cemetery.
