He is one of their two sons.
He appears in the 1900 census at the age of 21, in his parents household, unmarried and without children.
His brother, James, died when he was only three years old in 1885.
There are currently no other known children born to this couple.
It is my hope that Ervin married and had at least one child, otherwise it would appear that that Salia Doss and I. J. Harding's family line ended with him, as there would be no living direct descendants of this line otherwise.
Update 25 Mar 2020 : Ervin M. Harding married a Ms. Valkman, daughter of a Mr. George Valkman of the Forrestburg, Montague County, Texas community. They were married for just one week and a day before he died of a brief illness.
