Nina Lee McCormick Banks, 94, of Meadows of Dan, died Tuesday, July 20, 2004, at Waddell Nursing Home. Survivors include a caregiver/nephew and spouse, Billy and Vernell McCormick of Hillsville; two sisters-in-law, Eloise Stanley of Collinsville and Loraine Joyce of Martinsville; and several other nices and nephews. A funeral was held Thursday at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Funeral Home with burial in the Reed Island Springs Church Cemetery. The Rev. Clarence Marshall officiated.
