James Thomas Bradley, the son of Joshua Bradley and Mary Elmore, was born May 17, 1870. His first wife was Harriet McGrew. They were the parents of Anna Mayphus, the wife of Garner Downs. She was born January 15, 1900 and died on June 23, 1979. His second wife was Vesta Beville, the daughter of Amon Beville and Ann Moore. They were the parents of J. W., who was born January 14, 1919 and died October 12, 1965 and Cova Lee, who was born on June 13, 1921 and died on October 11, 1923. James died at the age of 83 on February 19, 1954, He was buried in the McGrew Cemetery in Grayson County, Kentucky. Vesta followed him there after her death on January 13, 1989.
