Arvel Radford of Nokesville, VA passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2007, at Prince William Hospital in Manassas, VA. He was seventy-five years of age and born in Carroll County, VA. He served two years in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He is survived by his wife Nancy Radford, son Gary Radford, son Keith Radford and girlfriend Tammy Dotson of Manassas, VA, grandchildren Jacob, Josh and Joel Radford, sisters Elsie Griffin of Hillsville, VA, Ella Mae Sutphin of Greensboro, NC. He was preceded in death by his brother Quentin Radford and parents Mr. & Mrs. Louis Radford. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 14 at 2:00 p.m. at Vaughan-Guynn-McGrady Chapel in Hillsville, VA with viewing at 1:00 prior to services. Interment will be Reed Island Springs Baptist Church in Meadows of Dan. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
