Stuart S. Hepler, of Prussia township, died at his home Sunday night. He was taken with inflamation(sic) of the bowels but a couple of days before his death. Dr. J.E. Howe was called in consultation with Drs. McDermid and Keith, of Fontanelle, on Sunday and they decided to operate on the patient Monday morning, it not being possible to make preparations that day, but during the night on Sunday he died. He leaves a wife and several children to mourn his death. The funeral services were held on Tuesday and the remains laid in the cemetery in the township where he lived.
