Mr. Adams and wife had moved to Nassau County in 1991, from Asheville, NC. They had lived for many years and raised their family in the Philadelphia, PA, area. In the early 1980s, they located to Asheville, NC.
He was a licensed electrician. Raised in the Methodist church; after moving to Yulee, Mr. Adams became a member of St. Peter's Episcopal Church in Fernandina Beach.
